In the desert's silent expanse, where whispers of history echo in every wind, lies Dayr-e Gachin, a forsaken caravansarai cloaked in mystery. Here, where time dances with shadows and the wind whispers tales of old ages, a haunting beauty lies there.

We tried to capture the mystery and melancholy of the atmosphere and mix it with the historical beauty of the place. This project is our intuitive experience of time and space intertwined.

  • Perpetual Morphosis - Video lnstallation

    2025

In Perpetual Morphosis, I engage in an intuitive exploration of the fleeting, ever-changing nature of identity.

The work serves as a visual reflection of my own self-image in the flow of time – an image that never stands still, but remains in constant motion, like a living stream of memory, experience, and emotion.

  • Floating Dreams - Sound and Space in Dialogue- Audio-reactive Videolnstallation

    2025

A space between wakefulness and dreams: A room, once a silent witness

to countless thoughts, transforms into floating sound clouds. Fragmented like memories. reactive like emotions - a visual echo of inner spaces where sound moves and dreams turn into light. The project explores the interaction between sound and space through a 3D-scanned bedroom. Using photogrammetry. the space is visualized as floating point clouds in Touch Designer. Sound dynamically alters the room's visual representation. creating different dream worlds. The work aims to depict memories and dreams as fluid, fragmented constructs reanimated by sensory stimuli.

  • Digital Proximity- AudioVisual lnstallation

    2025

The video work Digital Proximity visualizes the connection between family. memory,

and digital intimacy. At its core is a three-dimensional heart that responds to the rhythm of a heartbeat. Its surface is made up of a mosaic of 400 screenshots from video calls - captured fragments of family moments. taken by both myself and my family. These screenshots all date from the time of my migration. when physical distance confined our encounters to the digital space.

The work is about love - the deep. often silent affection within a family that endures even over distances. Created as part of the course Love Despite Eve1ything. it explores the concept of storge. Through the interplay of sound, image, and movement, the piece makes the physical. emotional, and digital presence of family tangible.

  • Citizen Informer- AudioVisual lnstallation

    2025

Citizen Informer is a public space dedicated to the exchange of thoughts and ideas. Various streams contribute to shaping you as an informed citizen. Yet the language used here feels foreign and meaningless - an endless flow of sounds that almost makes sense. but ultimately remains empty. The project was a collaboration between sound artist Heinrich Lenz and myself as the visual artist.

The premiere of Citizen Informer is scheduled for January 20. 2025. as part of the final exhibition of the No End To The Road Fellowship 2024 of Heinrich Lenz. Future steps include further developing the installation for various presentation formats. including a possible online adaptation to reach a wider audience.

  • MotionSoundscape- Gesture-Controlled FX Processor

    2024

This interactive multimedia system combines gesture recognition with real-time sound and visuals. Using Media Pipe for hand tracking, users control audio effects in Ableton and manipulate visuals in TouchDesigner through hand movements.

Hand gestures modulate sound in Ableton, while a particle system in TouchDesigner responds to these movements, creating dynamic visuals. This system enhances live performances.

allowing artists to interact physically with sound and visuals in real time, pushing the boundaries of interactive art and sound design.

  • Infinite recursion - Interactive Videolnstallation

    2025

Infinite recursion investigates the poetry of endless reflection, capturing the moment when reality folds into itself through digital recursion. Originating from an experimental encounter with a screen and a camera in the Electromechanical Workshop at Folkwang University of the Arts, this work grew from a simple technical play into a meditation on perception, presence, and infinity.

At its core, Infinite recursion is an installation: a camera is positioned in front of a screen onto which its own live feed is projected, mapped delicately onto a translucent curtain. As visitors step into this space, they become part of an endless loop — their image swallowed and multiplied within the spiral of reflections. Through subtle zooms and shifts in perspective, shapes and patterns emerge, dissolving the boundaries between subject and environment, self and projection.

What begins as a familiar encounter with one’s own reflection soon transforms into a journey into layered spaces — a mise en abyme where each iteration distances the viewer further from the original self, yet draws them deeper into the fabric of the image.

In Infinite Abyss, perception is not static: it is a living, breathing act of co-creation between human and machine, reality and its endless representations.

The first series of images and video experiments were created under the mentorship of Prof. Claudius Lazzeroni and presented during the Rundgang 2021 and the Rungang 2024. The current installation extends this investigation into a participatory, performative experience, inviting each participant to lose themselves — and find themselves anew — within the infinite folds of the screen.

  • FLUID SPACE-FROZEN TIME- Interactive Video lnstallation 2024

The Projects is an interactive video installation inspired by the metaphysical philosophy of time and space articulated by Muhyi d-Din lbn Arabi.

The work portrays time as fluid and ever-flowing. while space remains static. creating a dynamic interplay between these two dimensions.

The installation was presented at Folkwang Rundgang and the Next Level Festival at Dortmunder U in 2024.

Under the guidance of Professor Christian Schreckenberger.

  • Hyrcania - Audio-reactive video installation 2023

The video installation is designed to immerse the gallery space in the atmosphere of the Hyrcanian forests, inviting the audience to journey deep into these ancient woodlands.

his piece captures the vibrant essence of this unique ecosystem, bringing its sights and sounds vividly to life within the gallery.
